If you have lived in Schaumburg for more than a few summers, you know the rhythm: Woodfield anchors the west side, the convention corridor hums along Meacham, and the rest of the village splits its attention between them. That map is changing this summer. Almost everything worth doing between now and Labor Day sits within a half mile of Roselle Road, and it clusters around a Town Square that finally has its last lot filled in.

That is the through-line worth paying attention to. The village's own economic development office lists Andretti and H Mart on the same page as Hopscotch and the Township Library, but the pattern underneath the list is a center of gravity shift toward the historic core along Roselle.
